This section lists the In-Character (IC) history of the Rihannsu Star Empire on the Star Trek The Next Generation (TNG) MUSE for 1997. More information and links will be provided later, as time allows.

January 17, 1997:
Khoal is appointed hru'Llaudh and Legion Commander of the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi, succeeding Zarog in the position.

January 22, 1997:
The Imperial Rihannsu Warbirds Aehallh and vas'Hatham and the Bird of Prey Ael'Raaas were retired, with a new Warbird receiving that name at the request of the Praetor in memory of the ChR Stiletto and its crew, lost in battle. Two other Rihannsu vessels were also commissioned, the ChR zhown'Latta and the ChR ainnh'Dhael, while Ipsilon tr'Llweii was promoted to erei'Riov. Riov Verel'Delona and Tyreek are transferred to run the yhea'Galai, a training vessel.

January 25, 1997:
Phi'lasasam erei'Khoilmnriir Clove t'Llweii, wife of Fvillha Zarog, is kidnapped by Nausicaan mercenaries and presumed lost when the Nausicaan vessel self-destructs after being disabled by the ChR Hvael and ChR Ael'Raaas.

February 28, 1997:
Federation Artemis class destroyer USS Concord, commanded by Commander Abatar, violates the Neutral Zone and nearly enters Rihannsu space, harassing the Rihannsu by echoing off the border nets for over fifteen minutes.

March 7, 1997:
General Nein'tej retires as the Tal Shiar Legion Commander and is replaced by then Lieutenant General Tagor. hru'Llaudh Khoal, inactive for quite some time, is replaced by Khoteth, a former Tal Shiar Colonel, as the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi Legion Commander. Fver'ral, a Kiith ne'Llairhi and Phi'lasasam Khoilmnriir, retires. Clove was promoted to Khoilmnriir and Vere'Kala was given Fver'ral's Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi position.

March 17, 1997:
Cardassian vessels feigned damage in Federation space to stage an ambush on Starfleet ships along with cloaked Klingon vessels, heavily damaging a Starfleet vessel.

March 17, 1997:
Cardassians lost their flagship, the battleship CSV Reklar, with Ditael, Doomgiver, Stupon, and Martek lost onboard. Starfleet lost the scout USS Ranger due to a bug in Beowulf's autodefense code.

March 26, 1997:
The Federation ship USS Newcastle captured and destroyed the Klingon bird of prey IKV Riskadh when it entered Federation space. V'rus, ngalu', and one other Klingon were captured, V'rus and tlharQ later escaping from their jail cell after ngalu' was executed.

March 31, 1997:
The Klingon Battleship IKV 'Iw tlhutlhwI' was disabled in Klingon space by the Federation ship USS Corsair and destroyed by the USS Independence and USS Newcastle.

April 8, 1997:
The Rihannsu Warbird ChR d'Mnahe-vnau destroyed the Cardassian scout CSV Korchosa, on its way home from Zhentar after it was set up by Moomin on the FSP Bacchantes. Gul Matral and DarkFalcon died onboard the Cardassian scout.

April 9, 1997:
The Klingon scout IKV toDwI' violated Rihannsu space, breaking their nonaggression pact with the Rihannsu Star Empire, the Klingons later apologizing for the incursion.

April 10, 1997:
Thanks to the assistance of the Ferengi Marauders FSP Bacchantes, commanded by uDaemon Moomin, and the FSP Gangrel, commanded by Daemon tam'taj, the Rihannsu Warbirds d'Mnahe-vnau and Stelam d'Latta engaged and destroyed the Cardassian battleship CSV Gulang, with Gul Tarnal, among others, dying onboard.

April 14, 1997:
Sa choq of the Klingon Empire was killed when he flew his ship into their homeworld's sun.

April 28, 1997:
The Federation destroyer USS Newcastle seriously damaged the Cardassian heavy cruiser CSV Endol near the Zhentar starbase. CSV Aldara arrived to beam off the Endol crew with Starfleet's permission, when the FSP Gangrel purchased and boarded the Endol, offering to sell it to Starfleet.

April 29, 1997:
After objecting to Zaihirya Danak and Guln Darmal accepting Rihannsu terms of Cardassian surrender that they turn over the heavy cruiser CSV Aldara, the Cardassian people rebelled against Danak, Darmal, and Gul Sarad, starting a short-lived civil war.

May 1, 1997:
The Cardassian heavy cruiser CSV Aldara was turned over to the Rihannsu Star Empire as reparations for having destroyed the ChR Raptor and as a requirement for their surrender as specified in the Talla Compact, a document ending the long Rihannsu-Cardassian war.

May 9, 1997:
Klingon b'rel class birds of prey IKV toDwI' and IKV lIy So' and the q'tInga class battle cruiser IKV quljev'a' destroyed the Federation scouts USS Discovery and USS Phoenix in Klingon space, with Starfleet Lieutenants Xenos, M'Ralia, and O'Callaghan, Starfleet Intelligence Captain Voyager, Merchant Pilot Wint, and Fleet Commander Starr of Merchant Ops being among the humans killed. Lagh SopQo' was among those on the toDwI'.

May 13, 1997:
d'Galan S'olitaire returns after a long absence from the Empire and, in a ceremony on ch'Rihan to celebrate victory over the Cardassians, the Cardassian Galor-III Class heavy cruiser CSV Aldara was destroyed by Defense Base One along with the Nausicaan mercenary cruiser NMS Fang, itself captured in a failed attempt to hold Khoilmnriir Clove, wife of daise'Fvillha Zarog.

May 18, 1997:
Ferengi entered Federation space against their warnings with the Cardassian heavy cruiser CSV Endol, which they captured during a Federation-Cardassian battle. The Ferengi were attacked by the USS Newcastle, which fled until joined by the Galaxy class exploration cruiser USS Independence. Bentok, Daemon tam'taj, and Jefe K'lara were killed on the Endol.

May 20, 1997:
Federation ships USS Independence and USS Corsair destroyed the Cardassian scout CSV Azalar, with Glinn-Rohda Kavus dying onboard.

May 21, 1997:
Lured out by a Cardassian scout, the Federation ship USS Newcastle was attacked and destroyed by the IKV Ghol Ghor, with Peanuts, Equinox, and Darwin among those killed.

June 4, 1997:
qaHIghqang ngale' nearly assassinated 'aj V'rus and jid'Choch killed 'ajyo' mIcha in an attempt to topple the current Klingon military leadership

June 5, 1997:
A Federation fleet of a Galaxy Class exploration cruiser, battleship, heavy cruiser, three destroyers, and a scout, including the USS Independence, Corsair, Mariner, Concord, among others, entered Klingon space in response to recent Klingon actions. Met by a Klingon-Cardassian fleet of three battleships, a battlecruiser, and two scouts, Starfleet lost two destroyers, the Mariner and Concord, with no Klingon or Cardassian losses.

June 6, 1997:
The Orion Pirate Cruiser OPS Chaos entered Rihannsu space, refusing to surrender, and was destroyed by the ChR d'Mnahe-vnau.

June 10, 1997:
The Orion Pirate Cruiser OPS Hex entered Rihannsu space, searching for the OPS Chaos and refusing to surrender. It led Rihannsu vessels to their base of operations just outside Rihannsu space, the planet Nektal.

June 18, 1997:
erei'Riov Mnahe tr'AAnikh is promoted to the rank of Riov and given command of the ChR d'Mnahe-vnau, with Riov DiKalus and erei'Riov tr'Anule transferring to a yet to be named ship. The player of SopQo' (D), who had characters named D'laire, Moomin, and Bedaksolmeah in the past, was shot and killed in Ireland today.

June 19, 1997:
Rihannsu forces occupied the planet Nektal and fought off an Orion boarding action, destroying the remaining Orion pirates.

June 21, 1997:
The Cardassian scout CSV Vakor was destroyed by the Federation vessel USS Corsair-B and the starbase BiFrost, with Glinn-Dabadsed Siris dying onboard the Vakor.

June 22, 1997:
The Federation battleship USS Corsair-B was destroyed by the Cardassian battleship CSV Banhar, with Lt. Commander Dox and Lieutenant Simba dying onboard the Corsair. The Klingon scout IKV 'Iwtay and Federation vessel USS Aurora arrived too late to enter the battle.

June 23, 1997:
The Cardassian heavy cruiser CSV Hesha was destroyed by the Federation starbase BiFrost, with Hornet and Gul Yana dying onboard.

July 5, 1997:
A Tholian observation post was found in Ferengi space, as Tholian ships, including the TPC V'roozen and TPC L'ukool, disable the Ferengi Marauder FSP Urukhai and beam Hoozar Centurion, TarkMon Yoda, and QuoMon Rowe onto the TPC L'ukool, which was then destroyed by the FSP Yraaq, the Ferengi onboard the Tholian ship dying.

July 6, 1997:
Cardassian scouts CSV Kavus and CSV Tenik and the battleship CSV Banhar, along with Ferengi Marauders and the Rihannsu Warbird d'Mnahe-vnau destroyed the Tholian light cruiser TPC Z'roog, with Banhar getting the final shot in. Later, the Tholian starbase destroyed the Cardassian scout CSV Tenik, Glinn-Dabadsed Cro'sus dying onboard.

July 7, 1997:
The Rihannsu Warbird ChR Ael'Raaas was destroyed by the Tholian starbase, with Riov Romjukar and erei'Riov Ipsilon dying onboard. The Tholian starbase was later destroyed by the Cardassian battleship CSV Banhar, Klingon scout IKV toDwI', and the Ferengi vessels FSP Kurvek, FSP Yraaq, and FSP Libido, along with TSV S'aakel, a Tamarian Gomak at Jacal class battleship. An Orion Raider class frigate, the ORS Suzanne, was destroyed in the assault.

July 28, 1997:
The Orion pirate cruiser OPS Hex was destroyed by Defense Base One defensive systems.

August 12, 1997:
A Klingon battleship and scout took a Borg cube to 71% hull. Starfleet had two battleships, a heavy cruiser, a destroyer, and a scout assimilated by another Borg cube.

August 14, 1997:
Borg assimilate Cardassia Prime, sending the Cardassians into exile.

September 8, 1997:
Fleet Admiral Gabi retires as head of Starfleet, succeeded by Admiral T'Aire.

September 12, 1997:
The Klingon academy commandant was assassinated by a cadet.

October 12, 1997:
The Klingon q'tInga class battlecruiser IKV HIchop violates Rihannsu space as its crew becomes incapacitated for unknown reasons.

October 17, 1997:
The Klingon battleship IKV Qomo Val and b'rel class bird of prey IKV Hegh mIn chased the Ferengi Urukhai class heavy cruiser FSP Daagon back to Ferengi space after a running battle, the Klingons docking with the Federation outpost Freya when done. The Ferengi end their treaty with the Federation.

October 19, 1997:
Jafahr Quok destroyed the Ferengi scout FSP Lakool with the Ferengi starbase Pilaag, Bashar Rowe barely escaping with his life. A gun battle then erupted on Heter, with QuoMon thoQ being killed by Quok, who was then killed by KoMon We'D'gE.

November 17, 1997:
Captain Orion of the independent trader ISS Shadowcat makes an appearance.

November 20, 1997:
An unidentified planet killer enters Ferengi space, destroying planets Dutka 4 (I didn't name it) and Quark's Folly, taking the tog class scout FSP Gom to 60% hull, later destroying the Rihannsu planet aethl'Hveillh.

November 21, 1997:
After minor resistance by the Rihannsu near Defense Base One, the planet killer consumed the Rihannsu planet yy-a'Euhre and then the Klingon planet Heghwo'.

November 22, 1997:
As Klingon vessels raided Ferengi space the battlecruisers IKV quljev'a' and HIchop, the battleship IKV Qomo Val, and a bird of prey, the planet killer passed Qo'nos, moving to consume the Klingon planet veQHegh, contested by the scout ISD SonwI', manned by 'ajHom ngale' and qeqlI'wI' qarYn. The IKV HIchop and IKV quljev'a' later joined in as the planet killer moved on to Cardassian space, consuming the planet named Kouqud.

November 28, 1997:
Klingons entered Ferengi space with the battlecruiser IKV quljev'a' and the bird of prey IKV todwI'. The Ferengi merchant cruiser FSP Jumtril and the scouts FSP Lakool and FSP Gom faced them, with Lakool withdrawing with damage, replaced by the heavy cruiser FSP Daagon. With the battle ending, IKV todwI' drifted within range of the Ferengi starbase Denali and was destroyed with 'aj Hom ngale' onboard.

December 5, 1997:
Vaebn is promoted to the rank of erei'Riov in preparation for command of the ChR d'Mnahe-vnau.

December 8, 1997:
The Rihannsu Warbird ChR d'Mnahe-vnau enters Federation space on a recon mission.

December 13, 1997:
The Klingon battlecruisers IKV quljev'a' and IKV HIchop enter Ferengi space and attack the merchant cruiser FSP Kol.

December 15, 1997:
Blip is named as the new Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance.

December 18, 1997:
Klingon battlecruiser IKV HIchop destroyed the Ferengi scout FSP Craag, DaiMon tog barely escaping with his life.

December 20, 1997:
The Ferengi marauder FSP Oedipus, heavy cruisers FSP Yraaq and FSP Daagon, light cruisers FSP Kol and FSP Fiannah and scout FSP Gom attacked the Klingon observation post Qob Quj, Oedipus destroyed with Daimon tog and Jefe Trefyn lost. Heavily damaged, the Klingon battlecruiser IKV HIchop retreated, escorted by the battlecruiser IKV quljev'a'.
